I am looking to incorporate more strength work into my workouts. Unfortunately, Insanity is not really strength based (although there is a lot of body weight work) and I am feeling the need to build some muscle. I also have some loose skin from losing weight... gross I know! Hopefully weight training will help with this too!
The SWORKIT app is based completely on body weight, which is why I decided to go with JEFIT first. There are also 1000's and 1000's of exercises/ routines to choose from on JEFIT, so I don't think finding one that works for my set up will be hard. I think I will start with a dumbell only routine and then modify it for exercises that I can do on my universal gym.
I have 5 days left of Insanity, then a week to test run JEFIT before I go on holiday. Not enough time to do a good review, but it will be a good start.
Hopefully after that, I can get around to making this thing look a bit better.
